NeuinX selected among 300 teams in NDC's Startup Bloom competition
On December 31, 2025, Taiwan’s National Development Council (NDC) announced first-stage selections for the Startup Bloom—Startup Grand Alliance Competition. NeuinX was selected in the advanced technology category for its automated sports-event video solution. For a team that grew out of a National Tsing Hua University lab, this marks an important record of bringing research into the startup market.
Selected from 2,805 proposals
Organized by the NDC, the competition welcomes teams with startup ideas and companies established after January 1, 2020, while allocating resources across Taiwan’s six special municipalities and other regions. The first stage received 2,805 proposals, 2,619 of which were eligible. More than 100 experts from venture capital, industry, academia, research, and professional associations selected 300 teams. The selected teams span advanced technology, consumer lifestyle, and green sustainability, with 150 teams each from the six special municipalities and other regions. Ninety-one were early-stage teams without an incorporated company. NeuinX was selected in the advanced technology category for the six special municipalities. In a category largely centered on biotech, semiconductors, and AI applications, sports video analysis remains an uncommon focus.
From January through March 2026, selected teams joined second-stage training and mentoring, including advanced online courses, a business-plan bootcamp, and one-on-one mentorship, before in-person semifinal evaluations.
Why sports video
Sports events have long faced the same challenge: video production is slow and expensive. Traditional workflows require dedicated camera operators and post-production teams, so highlights often arrive the next day—or later—after the prime window for social sharing has passed.
NeuinX’s two product lines address this gap. With NeuinX Play, users upload game footage and cloud modules automatically extract event tags and time ranges to produce data and highlight clips for coaches’ tactical discussions and leagues’ marketing materials. inJOY extends automation to capture: AI tracks game action, records events, and combines free-viewpoint technology to create 3D visuals.
The technology has also earned international recognition. NeuinX was founded in 2022 with support from Taiwan’s National Science and Technology Council Germination Program and received a CES 2023 Innovation Award in the Software & Apps category. The company is also listed on Taiwan’s Go Incubation Board under stock code 7403.
What comes next
Beyond basketball, NeuinX is evaluating emerging sports such as pickleball. Through partnerships with event organizers and sports venues, the team plans to introduce capture equipment and its platform to more markets internationally.
